Acquired as nursery stock in 1999. The trunk was cut down in the year 2000 and new branches developed from scratch.

Now the branches has developed further. Also the trunk has been carved to add deadwood and thereby age to the tree.

2004

Now the branches has fattened by the use of the grow-cut-grow method. This means that branches you want to thicken is let to grow until the branch has the thickness wanted, and then cut back to the desired length.

This year the deadwood at the trunk (shari) was worked on again, to add detail and character to the image.
