The tree as it looked when purchased.

The Satsuki was bougth as prepared bonsai in Takamatsu, June, Japan, 2005.

The tree was pruned back in July, 2005, to rebuild the branch structure and starting to style the tree as I wanted it to look in the future.

Also some larger branches was removed. the scars was sealed with a cutting paste.

Rigth after the first pruning in July 2005.

Four weeks later the growth shows to be strong, also helped by strong organic feeding.

In autumn after the tree has been repotted gently into a fine Japanese pot by Kimiko.
